ENGINEER – TECHNICAL DRAWING

We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented and enthusiastic candidate to join our Presales Department based out of Trichy Office. This role requires translating project requirements into accurate technical drawings and pre-sales documentation, working closely with sales, engineering, and project teams and supporting proposal development ensuring effective Guest Room Management System (GRMS) solutions for hospitality projects.

Skills Requirement:

2-3 years’ experience in similar role in ELV and automation system design drawing preparation
Proficient in AUTOCAD, Adobe Illustrator
Required technical knowledge to understand customer requirement and system design in lighting control / EMS / GRMS
Ability to take decisions with minimum supervision.
Results-oriented, and able to work BOTH independently & as part of a team.
Strong knowledge and familiarity with building automation systems, IoT technologies, and energy management software platforms is an advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

Create the layout drawings to show case the locations of switches, GRMS panels and wirings.
Develop Mockup project details and technical drawings to support site activities along with Project management team.
Identify solutions to improve drawing efficiency through clear wirings and connectivity.
Use design AI and AutoCAD software to develop schematic and cabinet wiring diagrams.
Smart switches graphical representations creation using AI tool.
Maintain existing engineering records and designs in an easily accessible method.
Coordinate with other sales, project management to support consultant design drawings, block diagrams to explain the system functionality.
Creating detailed control schematics with all the points to clarify the functions of each block for Project management team
Creating a detailed Cabinet wiring diagram for contractors to follow in the construction site.

Qualifications:

BE degree or diploma in electrical/electronic engineering

2-3 years AutoCAD experience.
Proficient in using MS Office applications.
Should be well versed in English language.
