ORDER MANAGEMENT JUNIOR

Location: Rijeka, Croatia

Adria Electronic, part of VDA Group, operates within an international group specialising in the development of technological solutions for the hospitality industry.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an Order Management who will manage the order fulfilment process, ensuring data accuracy, timely execution and effective coordination across the departments involved.

Reporting to the Order Management Manager and working within the Operations Delivery & Support Department, the successful candidate will oversee each order from the receipt of commercial documentation through shipment and process completion, maintaining close collaboration with Sales, Project Management, Supply Chain and Finance.

Key responsibilities:

Receive purchase orders and contracts from the Sales network and Group companies, verifying their completeness, accuracy and compliance with company guidelines;
Enter and process customer orders accurately and within the required timelines;
Create and maintain customer and asset master data;
Monitor order progress throughout every stage of the process, ensuring alignment with agreed deadlines;
Collaborate with Warehouse and Supply Chain teams to plan shipments and collections, ensuring alignment between orders, product availability and expected delivery dates;
Prepare and verify the documentation required for shipment;
Manage order changes, updates and amendments, maintaining complete and reliable records;
Provide customers with timely updates on order status, in coordination with the relevant Project Manager;
Collaborate with Finance on invoicing, customer credit status and the financial closure of orders;
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Order Management processes by identifying inefficiencies and proposing practical solutions.

Requirements:

High school diploma or university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Languages, Management or a related field;
Previous experience is not required; internships, university projects or administrative support activities will be considered a plus;
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing data and documentation;
Organised and structured working approach, with good planning and prioritisation skills;
Ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines in a dynamic environment;
Good communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-oriented mindset;
Willingness to learn new systems, processes and business tools;
Fluency in written and spoken English;
Knowledge of the Italian language will be considered a plus;
Proactive attitude, reliability and a positive approach to problem solving.

Preferred qualifications:

Knowledge of the Italian language will be considered a plus;
Familiarity with CRM, ERP or business management systems gained through studies, internships or personal projects;
Basic understanding of order processing, administration, logistics or customer support activities;
Interest in operational processes and continuous improvement;
Experience using Excel for data organisation, reporting or analysis;
Interest in technology products and international business environments.

Salary Range: Annual Gross Salary € 18.000 - € 20.000
